Cancellation Policy
At Happy-Day, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which you can cancel or modify your booking for at-home hairstyling services. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Cancellation Timeframes
You can cancel your booking at any time before your scheduled appointment. However, please note the following timeframes and related fees:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment: No cancellation fee will be charged. You will receive a full refund (if applicable) or your account will not be charged.
- No-show or cancellations made within 1 hour of the appointment: The full service fee will be charged.
2. How to Cancel or Reschedule
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please follow these steps:
- Open the Happy-Day app.
- Go to the "My Bookings" section.
- Select the appointment you wish to cancel or reschedule.
- Choose the "Cancel" or "Reschedule" option and follow the instructions.
You will receive a confirmation email or notification regarding the status of your cancellation or rescheduled appointment.
3. Refunds
Refunds for canceled appointments will be processed based on the following conditions:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment: A full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment or no-shows: No refund will be issued.
Refunds typically take 7 business days to be processed.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
In certain exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergencies, force majeure events, etc.), Happy-Day may waive cancellation fees at its discretion. If you find yourself in an extraordinary situation, please reach out to our support team at support@happy-day.io to discuss your case.
5. Late Arrival
Please note that if you are late to your appointment, the hairstylist may not be able to provide the full service. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the service may be canceled, and you may be charged the full service fee.
6. Modifications to the Cancellation Policy
Happy-Day reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the app or email, and the updated policy will be posted here. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
